He has been so fun to watch this past week. It amazes me how fast he catches up after each round of chemo. Now that he is finished I will likely be surprised on a daily basis.
Although his verbal vocabulary is limited to Mama, Dada and bye, he knows several signs; more, milk, eat, all done, dog, ball, please.
Yesterday he picked up the hand sanitizer and began "washing" his hands with it. He never got any out, but it was entertaining watching him play wash his hands. I never thought we used it THAT much at home, but he knew just what it was for. He has obviously saw the hand sanitizer used a lot in the doctor offices and hospital but those are different dispensers. Who knows where he picked this up at.
Its also fun to watch him everytime he sees or hears a phone. He puts his hand to his ear and starts babbeling. We talk on the phone with Gamma everyday, so he has also associated her voice with the phone. It gets confusing when he reads the story she recorded for him.
Today we took Liam to the zoo. Enjoy the pictures!

What do you think? I wore it to Liam's friend William's birthday party on Saturday and recieved 2 requests for me to make the top.
Oh and how cute are my men?! We had a great time at the Blume Picnic today. As difficult as having a child with a serious illness it, the clinic and doctors do so much to make life fun!

Tonight Ollie needs your prayers. My friends son Ollie fell down several wooden stairs today and is in the PICU. Please pray for Ollie and his family. Pray for his parents to have the strength to get through this night.
Hold your loved ones extra close tonight.

when a fever is just a fever?
when a fever doesnt mean Liam's body is being attacked by something he can't fight off?
when a fever does not come with the threat of a hospital stay?
when I can breathe at night knowing my child has just caught a bug, it won't threaten his life?
On a positive note, camera has been returned. Expect a post full of pictures tomorrow~

A quote from Grey's Anatomy Good Mom's brag about their baby. As it turns out today didn't involve playgroups or a baby gym class.
I am so ready for this to be over with so I can start bragging about the stuff other moms get to brag about. Looking so forward to it I have been putting in a lot of effort into planning Liam's end of chemo party.
We are having a little set back today. He has had a fever all day. Please cross your fingers and pray its nothing serious.
Oh and I know it would make Liam (and me) feel a lot better if you could help come up with a saying. I have been trying to think of a saying for a banner at Liam's party. So far I just have Liam kicked cancer's ass but probably not appropriate for the park... Its a survivor/safari theme, please leave a comment suggesting a saying. The saying that is picked with receive $5 off their next LCF Threadz order.

This story started back on Easter. We got up and ready for church that morning. Brian grabbed the camera and threw it in the car so we could take pictures after mass. I have never known anyone to use the door "pocket" for storage, but this is where Brian puts everything.
Monday morning comes and it was time to return the rental car (mine was in the shop from hail damage). Brian forgot about the camera and it was returned with the rental. Brian called that night but the car had already been rented back out. They were going to call the people with the car and see if they could find it.
You can see where this story is going. Someone ended up with a free camera. I dont even care so much about the camera, JUST RETURN MY MEMORY CARD. My baby's life is on there!
So of corse there is a lack of pictures on here now. A new camera has been added to our growing wishlist.
