19 Weeks

Here I am world.  Me on a normal day.  No makeup.  Hair thrown up.

Baby girl is growing bigger by the day (me too!)  Brian says I am starting to look pregnant (as opposed to just fat).

Liam is so excited about his sister.  We have been discussing names.  Liam is pretty set on her name being Little Brother, but Brian and I have a few other ideas,  but we aren't talking about them until we choose something.

I gave in this week and pretty much just wear maternity clothes, but that doesn't stop me from putting my sweats on the minute I get home from work :)

I am feeling better *I hope*.  But the sickness has been so random, so who really knows.

Baby girl has been moving a ton.  Its crazy, Brian just asked me the other day if I could feel her moving yet. Actually yeah I have been feeling it for a while.  I wish I would have wrote down when I first started feeling her, but I thought I was crazy because it was so early.

Wordless Wednesday

Family Game Night!

Last night we played with one of Liam's birthday gifts. Probably the best first matching game I've seen!
It's called Bear Hugs. There are large and small game pieces, so to make a match you need one large piece and one small piece.
We had a blast playing!

Finding Inspiration

Today's the day.  We are finding out what variety of baby this little one is.

So I have been pinning away for months now.  And one thing I think we will find obvious is my color choices.  Probably doesn't matter what the gender is- looks like the main color for this baby's room with be grey, just need to decide on the accent colors.

I also know I plan to make the bedding this time.  WOW, so much of me has changed in the last 3 years.  I would have never imagined making Liam's bedding when I was pregnant with him.

Did it really snow last week?

So it snowed last weekend and rained all week. We took the first opportunity we had and got out of the house today!

There is even a creek near our house, Liam likes to stop and see the waterfall.

Boy or Girl?

Your guess is as good as ours at this point.  But we will be finding out next week.

Here is a fun little review of some old wives tales we can use to make some predictions.

High or Low

This old wife’s tale says if you are carrying high it’s a girl, I if you are carrying low it’s a boy.

Judge by the way I carried Liam, I would say this one is a …

Lub Dub Lub Dub

This ledge says if the baby’s heart beat is over 140 it’s a girl, if it’s under 140 the baby is a boy.

Baby’s heart beat last week was 156.

Sweet and Sour

Cravings?  Um… this one is up for grabs.  I don’t really crave anything.  I have always loved both sweet and salty.

Chinese Gender Chart

Oh this one perplexes me.  Which old wife came up with this?  If the father determines the sex of the baby, why are you asking me for my age and month of conception.  Either way, it was right for Liam, so this time we will be having a …

Even or Odd

Well if the Chinese are wrong, the Mayans must be right.  Taking the mother’s age and year of conception, if both are even or odd it’s a girl, if one is even and the other odd it’s a boy.  {30, 2012}

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Girls are said to steal their mother’s beauty, causing terrible breakouts.  Boy did some wife have this wrong!  My face was AWFUL with Liam… This time the OWT says I will be having a
Excuse me while I vomit

Boy was I lucky with Liam {pun intended!} I was never nauseous or sick once!  We all know how I have felt this time.  Surely I am having a

Our predictions...

Well I guess they are still up in the air.  I am very reluctant to share my thoughts.  Day 1 with Liam I knew I was having a boy.  But somewhere around week 15 or so I changed my mind.  I was having a girl.  And I kept that opinion until the ultrasound, where I was left in shock!

I keep telling my mom baby will be another boy. My logic?  Not one person has guessed (and we all know everyone have an opinion, whether you want to hear it or not) this baby will be another boy.  And with something that is really a 50/50 guess, not everyone can be right.

Liam says he will have a little sister 98% of the time.
Brian just refers to Liam, of course his opinion is the most important.

Snow Day!

Well technically I call this a waste of a snow day because it was Saturday, but we got to go outside and enjoy the snow anyway.

It was the first time in 2 years it snowed in Charlotte.

We started to make a snowman.  Then Liam kicked it down the hill.

All this snow accumulated in about 20 minutes.  I know its not a lot to my midwestern friends, but here is the last time it snowed here...

And to think it was 60-70 degrees outside yesterday.
