Our week in iPhone photos

I've never really taken many photos with my phone, I gave it a shot this week. I've loved looking at Amy so today we're linking up!

We had a busy week before Christmas. Liam got his port out! and a haircut. Christmas morning wasn't so bad either!

After Christmas Liam and I went up to Michigan to visit family, Brian joined us a few days later. Liam got to experience snow. This was pretty amazing considering when we left Carolina our trees had buds on them. Liam kept pointing out the window "rain". Sweeping the floor at Pier 1. Walking off those extra holiday calories on the treadmill and loving on the Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls.

Merry Christmas!

I could say this every day, but WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES!

We have had a great month starting traditions in our little family. Last year was our first year staying in Carolina for Christmas, not by choice but this year we decided to stay home again. We want Liam to wake up in his own home on Christmas morning and see that Santa came.

A few of our traditions

Advent Calendar
our version was a small tree with books under. Liam opened a book each day to count down the days until Christmas. The last book being Twas the Night Before Christmas read by Gamma and Gampa.

Santa Pictures
TOTAL DISASTER! We did this while visiting Tia Mary in Atlanta. Liam was excited. Santa was sitting on a train. He walked right up and was game until I sat him on Santa's lap.
Gingerbread House
Yeah that was an experience. Liam LOVED IT! Its really not hard to please this kid!

Christmas Mass
Well this was a fail. We tried to go to the Children's Mass, but was turned away- it was full. So we came home, prepared some food, then went to the non-denominational church around the corner. It was a good service. Liam LOVED the music.

Embrass the Season of Giving
We have been blessed with all the support we have received this past year. In addition to the many donations received on this blog, Liam was also adopted by the HomeTown Heros.
Hometown Heros has offered us much finacial support, from insurance payments to money to help pay Liam's bills.
They also provide the opportunity for their children to shop at Wal-Mart on Christmas Eve. Well I am a little too prepared, beginning Liam's Christmas shopping in July. So without a need for Liam, we chose to take him on the shopping trip to buy for the children at Hemby.

The Night They Saved Christmas

Hands down my favorite Christmas movie... Ever. And I haven't even seen it in years. But each year I search the listings for it. Nope, not shown. But I am watching it on You Tube now!!!
IS there a holiday favorite of yours that you haven't seen in years?
