Parenting Styles

Okay so maybe we didn't have an perfect first year, but Liam was a well behaved boy!  Now we are running into some tantrums.  Although we haven't quiet figured out the perfect way to handle them, we are open to suggestions.

Gotta say, Dawn, although I don't envy you the tantrum stage, each time you post a picture like this or the shoes or any other one of "an everyday occurance with a toddler", it makes me think about how different your perspectives will be than that of parents who did not have your experience. And how much I LOVE seeing Liam going through these "regular kid" moments! Thanks for keeping this blog - it helps me maintain a grasp on what's truly important in life. And hang in there - tantrums go away. Usually to be replaced by "search and destroy". lol!

  2. This is awesome. I wish I would have taken a pic of the girls' first time outs hahahaha. Im sure this wil be one of many.... just try not to lose your own temper..... I struggle daily with that. Be consistent with time out and follow through! He's getting so big. What a little man!
